Here is a new 636 Hi-Speed Green Machine sweeping around the prestigious Melbourne Exhibition Centre in Australia.

One of our first Success Stories featured a fleet of 11 Applied 525 sweepers being put into operation in City of Edinburgh some 6 years ago. We are now delighted to announce that City of Edinburgh have replaced that original fleet with 11 new Applied 636 Hi-Speed Green Machines, which will be working hard every day to keep Scotland's beautiful capital city clean.

Our Hungarian distributor, Agrolanc Kft , is happy to announce that the ancient part of Budapest is now being cleaned by the Green Machines! Not just the residents, but also tourists enjoy the impact of the clean Buda Castle area provided by sub-compact model Green Machines.

Here is the first 636HS machine recently supplied into Chile. It is working successfully at Port Coronel, a Port located in the south of Chile (near Concepcin Chile's second largest city. We hope to secure many more orders from this part of the world in the future.

Our recently appointed Russian distributor, Cominvest AKMT, got off to a flying start with an order for 23 Applied 636HS sweepers to City of Moscow. These machines will also be supplied with a variety of winter maintenance equipment to ensure the busy tourist areas are kept litter-free all year round. We are very optimistic that Russia will prove a highly successful new territory for the Green Machine product range.

Success goes in leaps and bounds as the 1000th cabbed machine rolls off the production line. The Applied 636HS is destined for the far flung City of Vladivostock in the Russian Federation, where it will be used by the University. It was sold by our Russian dealer Cominvest AKMT based in Moscow, who after a short time have enjoyed considerble success with the 636HS in Russia. This event was celebrated by all Applied staff who were very proud to welcome as our guests for the day the Vice Consul of the Consulate General in Edinburgh, Mr Grigory Antonenkov, accompanied by Mr Ewan Mearns of Scottish Enterprise.

Northern Cyprus has now discovered the Green Machines!! Represented here by Tekser Ltd the first 636 has been successfully installed into the City of Famagusta. This is a hot and dusty country without the "luxury" of the Scottish rain. This meant that the patented "Cloudmaker" system was especially important to the customer and has proved very effective for operation in an extremely dry environment.

City Machines Bulgaria Ltd have successfully been selling Green Machines into Bulgaria for just over a year. 7 have already been delivered to the City of Varna with 5 more already on the way there.In October the company took part in the Technical Exhibition in Plovdiv with an impressive stand. This roused a great deal of interest and the General Director of the Exhibition Centre, Mr Gergov, immediately bought 3 machines to clean this new and modern site. The stand was visited by the Prime Minister of Bulgaria, Mr Stanishev, and the company and machines were featured on national TV stations and press.

The interest in Armenia on the presentation of the first 4 x 414S2D Green machines delivered was immense. The complete Armenian press were gathered for this event which was personally attended by the British Ambassador Anthony Cantor, when 3 machines were delivered to the municipality of Arabkir in Yerevan, organised by the City Prefect Hovannes Shahinyan.One machine was also delivered to the President's Palace to be used in the gounds there. Further co-operation is planned in sweeping of the streets of Armenia.

In addition to the 72 Applied 414RS sweepers supplied to City of Paris in 2005, the Ville de Paris now also operates over 40 of the Applied 525 Hi-Speed Green Machines. The Applied fleet plays an important part in the daily street cleansing operations of one of the world's most beautiful cities.

One of the first of a fleet of machines sold to Municipalities in Serbia & Montenegro by Farm Industries in Novi Sad. This particular machine was bought by the Public Works Director for the Municipality of Krusavac, the dynamic third city of Serbia, south of Belgrade. With a major exhibition in October 2006, Deen and Saska Williams are confident that the success they are having with the Green Machines will go from strength to strength.

Spain's third most important city and Mediterranean port. The beautiful City of Valencia is kept to a high standard of cleanliness by the contractor, Agricultores de la Vega, operating a fleet of 21 Applied 525 Hi-Speed Green Machines on behalf of the City Council for the task of city centre cleansing.

The Times-Square BID clean team have been using Green Machines since 1996. The machines were equipped with a custom voice message from the late actor Tony Randall (Felix Unger from The Odd Couple). The launch drew the attention of newspapers, radio stations and even CNN!

Singapore has the enviable reputation of being one of the cleanest nations in the world. To date 61 Green Machines are employed to help maintain such a level of excellence. [see story]

The party never stops in world famous Rio de Janeiro and this creates quite a challenge for the daily cleaning crews. After evaluating the Green Machine during the busy Carnival Season, 20 were purchased to sweep up the litter and keep the parade going.

When elected, Mayor Richard M. Daley made cleaning up Chicago one of his top goals and since has successfully introduced the Green Machines to help maintain Chicago as the U.S.'s cleanest big city. Now city officials are believed to be the first worldwide to add a recycling component to the daily sidewalk sweeping operation. [see story]

Dublin is currently enjoying huge economic growth and you can't go very far without spotting a Green Machine in this beautiful part of the Emerald Isle.

This beautiful medieval city in the province of Perugia is a famous stop on the pilgrimage route in Central Italy.

The Green Machine certainly draws the crowds at this machine launch in ancient Istanbul. The City now operates a large fleet of Green Machines.

This famous Dutch City was operating 17 model 414RS Green Machines but needed to improve the means of transporting them from a central depot to all areas of the city. The City was instrumental in developing the specifications of the new model 424HS in order to address this issue. We are proud that after using the first 5 model 424HS for some time, the City has just announced a major fleet extension. [See News story]

The City's D.P.W. has made huge strides in keeping S.F. sparkling clean. It currently uses 10 model 414RS and 2 model 525HS Green Machines as part of its overall strategy in areas of high pedestrian traffic.

Of the many Green Machines in Rome, none have more high prestige and profile than those operating around St. Peters Square and the Vatican. Uneven cobblestone and huge numbers of pedestrians make the Green Machine an obvious choice.

Putting a sparkle on the face of one of the world's most beautiful cities. In 2005 City of Paris took delivery of 72 new model 414RS Green Machines to keep the City sidewalks clean and safe.

There are over 200 Green Machines in operation throughout London. One of the leafier of the 26 districts in Greater London is the The London Borough of Bexley which recently announced it will upgrade from the original fleet of 24 model 414RS Green Machines to 15 new 424TR units. [See News story]
